Mid Week Breakdown

Well I'm pretty sure that no one ever reads this so lets be creative.

The Chicago Blackhawks will not win the stanley Cup this year. But I believe they can get id done sooner rather then later. Drugs in Tennis, who cares? So what if a tennis player does cocaine, you can't really think it can enhance your skills? Bristol Palin, how are you getting so much press time for basically being a hootchy hootchy. I don't care what family you are from, kids shouldn't be having kids. You can't even by booze!

I have lost 24ish pounds so far in my attempt to get thin again. Ask me about the stairs of hell, cause I need to do them 29 times in a row to reach my goal! Friggin Charitable runs.

OBAMA OBAMA OBAMA---what next can he do???

The Conservative Party in Canada is trying really hard to dis-credit the Liberal party leader Mike Ignatieff. I had heard that this guy had been living in America for years for business and educational purposes. So this is not news to me. What is wrong with moving back home and applying for a job. Isn't that what he basically is doing???

Ovechkin is by far the most exciting player in the NHL today. Just hope that he can bring a team all the way.

What to do this weekend?

Well it has been another week of not doing to much. I did manage to have another job interview in Ottawa and get down to Kingston to visit my old school. I got bad news. I have a lot of making up to do just to get back in school.

The birthday is this weekend. Te girlfriend also shares her birthday on Jan 18th. I got 2 years on her thought.

Do you think Obama is going to get popped? I think there would be a lot of people out in the world who wouldn't mind seeing him gone. America is pinning its hopes and future on this guy. America I think is in turmoil already, what will it do when its first black president gets shot of national TV.

Hockey helmets and fighting have become a huge deal in the NHL. A senior hockey league player who nobody ever would have heard of, fell and hit his head on the ice in a fight. Fights happen every day in hockey, and shit happens. This tragic event could nt have been prevented. Face the facts, this was bound to happen. Even if you try and eliminate fighting, it will still takeplace. We should be lucky that this has took so long to actually happen.

Steelers, Cardinals, Ravens and Eagles---Who will win the Superbowl? Will I go skiiing again this year? Will I be employed by the end of the month

Another Poker Blog

So I'm here in Spencerville on a riday night and I'm chilling infront of a fireplace and christmas stockings. Man oh man have i done nothing for awhile now. I do play online poker a fair bit in my spare time which is a lot of time right now. My account on Full Tilt is at its lowest in probably a year. I actually feel poor slightly.

But the good news is that I haven't invested any real paper money in well over a year. And I have withdrawn which more then covers any initial investment that I made. I read a lot of the poker blogs that are written my players such as myself. Shannon Shorr who just sturck it large at a early age and has since continued to better himself is a favorite. Phil Hellmuth only talks about his lavish wheelings and dealings. Roy Winston is a doctor by trade but lives the poker lifestyle now ever since he won at the Borgata. I read them all.....

The wild turkeys that used to roam around in the back yard have dissappeared. Certainly didn't help that dad chased them away. He scared the beejesus out of me. By the way I want to go to Australia really badly. I've been half ass planning a trip for the Dominican. Puerta Plata looks like the place to be for a cheap get a way. But we may have to hold off on this as I do have a second interview with Metro coming up. I think its a lock, but if not I may not be to dissappointed really.

What else do I have to do? I have to take my old piece of dung ACER to Joe Computer here in town and get all my pictures from the past on the new HP.

Saturday before Christmas

I'm in Spencerville and we have snow. I've been back home now for nearly 2 weeks. Haven't been productive at all. Lucky me has had a job interview though. Man oh man do I have a lot of sports toys. For anyone who doesn't know, I collect sports stuff. I bought over 40 McFarlanes in Hay River. I even found some in Whitehorse and shipped them home.

Tomorrow is my brothers birthday. So I got onto the EBAY the other day. It is a mad house for viewing sports related items. Which leads me to Dupuis taking me to a card shop in Ottawa. Great place, loads of stuff. Hans from the Philippines. I could spend hours there. I drool over this place. I went nuts on the McDonalds cards. Only needed 1 to complete the base set. Long live EBAY!

Bail out after bail out. What the hell happened here? How much money do we have? What is the International reaction to all of this? Are the Detriot Lions going to win a game this year? What is Bush going to do now? Not exactly the best person to have at your parties. Is he competent?

What was the deal with the shoe thrower? Bush Matrixxed himself out of harms way. So cool and calm like he knew it was coming almost. Never seen a President not knocked to the ground in 1/2 second.

My Chicago Blackhawks are going to the playoffs this year. Can't say the same for the Sens. A new ERA of hockey is upon us. Blow up the Sens, it was has to be done. This team will forever be tainted by shody play at the worst possible time. How does Kane look in Chicago? Sweetness I say.

$3 rebuy

So its Hump Day today. Got a lot of work done. Tomorrow I have to pound it harder. Whitehorse will be fun. Basically arrive to work ready to go and take off from there. Pete from Kingston was trucking in Edmonton last night. He got to Wisconsin today.

Will AJ Burnett stay with the Blue Jays? Not to bloody likely. He pitched strong tonight. Even tipped his cap. The poor old Jays who have looked oh so good at the end. They were the best team in baseball for a eriod. They were beating all the teams they had to beat. Thought for a second they could run the table like Colorado.

I think I may have mentioned this before, but Gerber and the Sens are going to be real good. The Jason Smith pick up is pure genious. Smith is die hard rough and tumble hockey player. He'll skate on 1 leg no problem. Kuba is a huge pick up as well. Kuba has no leadership responsibilities heaped on him. He can just master his already solid game.

Stamkos is the real deal as well. He'll produce and contend for the Calder. Hockey is fortunate of the draft system and eligiblity concerns. Rookies seasons in the NHL are great to watch, especially with a healthy batch of playes who can make an impact immediately.

Dennis Bevington the MP for Western Arctic should be voted for in the upcoming election. He has a voice in the parliament. I'm sorry but I just don't see (Brandon Bell PC) fitting the position at this moment. Bevington deserves to stay. The Liberal party leader is a woman that generally has no buzz. And Sam Gamble of the Green Party and he is young.

MONDAY NIGHT FOOTBALL

WELL IT IS ON RIGHT NOW BUT I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT THE SCORE IS. ITS MONDAY, THEREFORE ITS PROJECT RUNWAY. I'M SITTING AT THE TABLE LOOKING AT A PICTURE OF ME WITH THE NWT LICENSE PLATE. THE PLATE ALONE IS AMAZING.

I'M ALSO PLAYING POKER RIGHT NOW. POKER HAS BEEN VERY GOOD TO ME. ALTHOUGH I DO PUT A LOT OF TIME INTO IT. BUT COMBINING EVERYTHING TOGETHER I'VE WON ROUGHLY $10000. ALL I REALLY HAVE TO SHOW FOR IT IS CREDIT CARD PAYMENTS. BUT I GUESS THATS ACTUALLY NOT A BAD THING.

I RAN 5KM AGAIN TODAY. UNDER 30 MINUTES WHICH IS A NEW PERSONAL BEST SINCE I STARTED WATCHING MY TIMES HERE IN YELLOWKNIFE. I CAN GO MORE. IT WAS BASICALLY A 10 MINUTE MILE PACE. NOT GOOD ENOUGH.

Ryder Cup Saturday

So here in Yellowknife on a brisky day. I ran over 5 1/2 miles today in 60 minutes. I think that is pretty good. And I also applied to college yesterday. The States seem to be leading right now. They have been hitting a l oy of puts. They have been clutch.

I got my hair cut earlier today. I think it turned out pretty good. I hate the fresh cut. You look like a dweeb for at least 7 days. I look in the mirror and all I can see is the new dew. Hair cuts suck. But the staff is nice. We baby sat a cat for a couple months earlier. Buddy had his entire jungle gym with him. Good times with the cat. But also some really annoying times. Poor neighbours must have thought we were starving it. He had such a bullshit meeeooowww. All the way down the hall you can here him.

Hockey season begins fairly soon. The Sens I think are going to surprise a lot of people. They are geared up and ready to go. Gerber is prime time this year, not Emery or general disractions. The trouble makers have been sent packing. Much like the Leafs who had to explode the dressing room up to start a completely new team. This team also I think can turn some teams upside down. Teams can bounce back really fast if they are given a fresh start.

Jeff Finger has to know that he is the luckiest guy in the NHL. His miracle contract will have eyes on him at all time. All he can do it play. But lordy if he sucks then Fletcher will take the heat for that one. It is deemed that he may not of even been worth $1 million a season. He is getting 3 + a season. Calling it right now. Ian White is better then Jeff Finger.
